The project ANAVATHΜIS of the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation has been implemented with funds by Greece’s Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation” (EPAnEK) 2014-2020 and the contribution of a large number of both pre- and post-doctoral junior researchers. The project’s outputs are presented with open-access, mainly to the research and education communities, and include three main axes:
1. The development of new open-access databases with the technology of the specialized open-source software Heurist developed by the University of Sydney,
2. The improvement, update, and enrichment of previous databases of the Kyrtou Plegmata platform,
3. The creation of new digital editions (ebooks), historical research works, and research publications, as well as the organization of conferences and workshops.

Project “ANAVATHMIS. Development of Historical Research: Studies and Digital Applications” (MIS 5002357) is part of the “Action for Strategic Development of Research and Technology Institutions” and funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation” (EPAnEK) of the Partnership Agreement for the Development Framework 2014-2020, co-funded by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).
